WE SERVE

Acid Survivors & Women Welfare Foundation
Acid attacks and other crimes against women happen across the world and adversely affect their lives – physically, emotionally and psychologically.
We believe in service to humanity, especially to women and the less fortunate; guided by ethical norms, transparency and fair practices.
ASWWF has developed a new approach TRAUMA INFORMED CARE KIT (TICK) for dealing with survivors who are often severely traumatized as a result of the nightmarish experience they go through in the immediate aftermath of the attack. Acid attacks are a form of violence primarily directed against women, where the perpetrator splashes a person with acid in order to deface or kill the person. Domestic violence, refusal to indecent proposals, family disputes have been found to be the dominating causes of acid violence.
With a relentless commitment to erase acid violence from society, ASWWF realizes the indispensable need to formulate initiatives that cater to the well being of the victims.
