World Confluence of Humanity, Power & Spirituality
Kanoria Foundation has organized 13 World Confluences since 2009 which was also attended by former President of India, Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee respectively, among other distinguished luminaries from all walks of life globally. The confluences were first of its kind in the world with a conglomeration of major issues on Humanity, Power (inner & outer) and Spirituality. A worldwide mission to serve humanity, the Confluence dwells on the theme of service to humanity and essentialism of spirituality, including Spirituality at Work.
The World Confluences were organized in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai and special international sessions were held in the USA and UK, where over 1,000 speakers from different parts of the world, different faiths and vocations, including humanists, illuminates, dignitaries and professionals, leaders and learned men participated.
Over 10,000 students from more than 40,000 schools across the globe participated in an essay, debate, sit and draw competition on spirituality. Select essays and drawings were published in the ‘Business Economics’ magazine, one of the top business magazines in India, edited by Dr. H. P. Kanoria. A special publication ’Spirituality & Humanity’ and an annual brochure documenting the essence of the confluence was circulated globally.
